National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Chandigarh is one of the four premier institutes established by the Government of India (Ministry of HRD) in 1967 for attaining excellence in technical education in the country with main focus on the states of the Northern Region. NITTTR Chandigarh is steadily heading to accomplish its mission of attaining a distinct position as the Centre Par Excellence in technical education, training and research in India. The distance of institute from Chandigarh Railway Station is 5 kms; from Inter State Bus Terminal, Sector 17 is 5 kms ; from Inter State Bus Terminal, Sector 43 is 8 kms; and from Chandigarh Airport is 10 kms.
Chandigarh is India’s youngest city, planned by the famous French architect Le Corbusier. It is a Union Territory and Capital of the State of Punjab and Haryana.
